Clay Farm centre ready to welcome Camcycle for the 2019 AGM

The venue is prepared, the cafe will be open and our team of Camcycle staff and volunteers are ready to welcome you!

Camcycle’s 2019 AGM at Clay Farm Community Centre in Trumpington will be held on Saturday 20 January 2019 between 10.30am and 2pm. The event is open to everyone who is interested in making Cambridge a more pleasant and thriving place for the people who live, work and visit. You don’t have to know anything about cycle campaigning or have been to any of our other events. So if you’re frustrated by Station Square, excited by the Chisholm Trail or just want to find out more about who we are and what we do, please come along and join us!

Below is the agenda for the day (and you can download the full agenda pack in advance here).

10.30am: Doors open for check-in, refreshments, and the opportunity to purchase Camcycle merchandise

11.00am: Discussion panel with guest speakers Faye Holland, Sally Hinchcliffe and Lily Macfadyen Tomson

12.00pm: Buy some lunch from the Café or bring your own and participate in an informal volunteering and campaigning workshop. Learn from experienced volunteers and share your ideas for our activities in 2019

12.50pm: Formal AGM business including Chair’s report and approval of accounts followed by the 2018 Camcycle Awards, a review of the year’s highlights and the election of trustees for 2019.

Clay Farm Centre is easily accessible by cycle; it’s in Hobson Square, which you can access from the Busway cycleway shortly before the Trumpington Busway stop. Alternatively you can approach from Trumpington to the west or Lime Avenue (off Long Road) to the north. There is plenty of cycle parking around the centre, with both covered and uncovered stands available.

It would be helpful to our planning if you could register your attendance via Eventbrite but this is not a ticketed event – all are welcome, whether you have registered or not. We look forward to seeing you there!
