Camcycle is a charity that has worked for over 20 years to make Cambridge a better place for cycling. The work of our volunteers has truly changed the face of cycling in Cambridge and we are well respected by our many stakeholders including the City and County councils.
The coming months and years will be pivotal in improving cycling in Cambridge, in particular with the increased investment from the Greater Cambridge Partnership (previously City Deal) and the anticipated economic and population growth of Cambridge. We are ready to tackle these new issues head on and now have two employees, who are here to work with and support volunteers. However, we always need and welcome new people who can spare some time to advance our cause.
There are many ways that you can help the Campaign and improve cycling in Cambridge. Whether you’re a friendly face who enjoys speaking to other people or a dedicated worker behind-the-scenes, we have a wide range of roles available. We like to think that you can help improve cycling in Cambridge and apply and develop your preferred skills while you do so.
