Camcycle AGM speaker announcement – Sally Hinchcliffe

We’re excited to announce the next guest speaker for our 2019 AGM ‘Winning hearts and Minds’, Sally Hinchcliffe.

Sally is a serial cycling campaigner – She helped found the Cycling Embassy of Great Britain, co-founded her local campaign Cycling Dumfries, helped start (and continues to help organise) Scotland’s Pedal on Parliament, is a co-organiser of We Walk, We Cycle, We Vote and also of the Women’s Cycle Forum Scotland.

Sally’s campaigning with Pedal on Parliament has been part of a sea change in how the Scottish Government both invests in and thinks about cycling. The Cycling Embassy of Great Britain has influenced campaigners in Great Britain and beyond to push for Dutch-style infrastructure to enable accessible cycling for all ages and abilities. We can’t wait to hear Sally’s perspective about what works to get people inspired to campaign for change.

The Camcycle AGM will be held from 10.30am to 2pm on Saturday, 19 January 2019 at Clay Farm Community Centre in Trumpington, just off the Busway cycleway. Our AGM is free to attend and all are welcome, but please register in advance to help us plan.
