Thank you and Merry Christmas!

What a year 2018 has been for Camcycle! We’ve┬átaken a little time out of our busy last week in the office to have some fun and wish you all a safe and enjoyable festive holiday. We hope you enjoy.

On behalf of Camcycle, we’d like to take a moment to say a huge thank you to our members who have supported us, to our volunteers who have gone above and beyond to help us with events, deliver magazines and leaflets and marshalled rides, to our donors and sponsors who have funded our work and to our trustees who have provided strong leadership and guidance and who have developed so much of the critical work that happens behind the scenes to keep Camcycle going. We also acknowledge the hard work and support of our councillors, council officers and developers who want to make Cambridge a true cycling city where cycling is a safe and accessible option for all. (We also thank those supporters who have showered us with chocolate this week!)

Most importantly, we would like to thank you for helping us to campaign this year. We’ve had some great wins like the Chisholm Trail and the Histon Road/Gilbert Road junction, and we know we still have more work to do in areas like the Cambridge station. From writing letters, attending meetings, contributing on Cyclescape, signing a petition or even reading our weekly updates and telling your friends about the latest cycling issues, it all helped!

We’re looking forward to a great 2019 starting with our AGM on January 19, more social events and cycle rides and an even bigger Cambridge Festival of Cycling.
