Question 14 - we asked:

Will you actively support the early construction of pedestrian and cyclist access to the guided busway maintenance track especially through the new development at the end of Clarendon Road and through the Cambridge University Press site?

We asked this question only in Trumpington.

2 of the 4 candidates (50%) who were asked this question responded as below.

Kenny LATUNDE-DADA
(Labour Party)

In addition to lending my support to the construction of more adequate cycle parking venues in Trumpington and across the city, I am also in favour of increasing cycle and pedestrian access across the city. Thus, I shall be in favour of cycle lanes along the guided busway which will also serve as a more secure route for cyclists currently having to negotiate heavy traffic along the congested alternative routes.

Sheila STUART
(Liberal Democrat)

Yes - this is something that will be of great benefit to residents of my ward.
