Lack of ambition means that the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) gained just £635,000 in the government’s latest active travel funding announcement, in stark contrast to the transport authorities for other regions. Ranking bottom of the UK’s Combined Authorities, the CPCA received 4% of the funds allocated to top-rated West Midlands Integrated Transport

Cambridge station cycle park to gain £530,000 upgrade as Active Travel England rides into action

Camcycle welcomes the government’s launch of Active Travel England and the adjoining announcement for extra funding for Cambridge station’s Cycle Point which will transform accessibility and security at this well-used cycle park.
