Winning hearts and minds with Clare Rogers

Clare Rogers lives in London and began calling for more liveable streets in Enfield when the borough received ‘Mini Holland’ funding. Now the Healthy Streets Campaigner at London Cycling Campaign, she joined us for our December 2021 meeting to talk to us about how she works to achieve community engagement and unity while campaigning for change and persuading decision-makers.

The meeting finished with a round-up of the latest cycling news and campaigns from Camcycle’s Communications and Community Officer, Anna Williams.

It was originally held on our Facebook channel and is also available to view on YouTube.

The next Camcycle meeting will be held online on Tuesday 1 February, when we’ll be joined by Rhiannon Osborne, part of the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Independent Commission on Climate, who will talk to us about what needs to be done to address climate change in our region. She’ll be joined by Helen Dye, organiser of St Ives EcoAction, who will explain what their group is doing to tackle local climate challenges. Watch live on our Facebook channel from 7pm.
