Regent Street crossing re-opens

The revamped crossing by the Pizza Hut on Regent Street has re-opened after a month of construction work. Cyclists can now turn turn left with a left filter light. There’s a much clearer distinction between cycle and pedestrian areas in different colour surfaces, proper kerbs (the annoying cobbles have gone) and wider gaps on the pedestrian parts. So, thank you Cambridgeshire County Council for this significant improvement at an exceptionally cycle-busy junction. More photos.
