Public Health in Cambridge and the Bicycle: 5 June, 8pm

Our general meeting this month features a presentation by Dr Liz
Robin
, NHS Director of Public Health for Cambridgeshire on
“Public Health in Cambridge and the Bicycle: New Avenues and
Opportunities.” We want to raise awareness
that the policy case for cycling is increasingly being made with
public health arguments. Some public health agencies have started to
fund bicycle coordinators, others have issued design manuals for
innovative street design that welcomes cyclists.
Join us next Tuesday, 5 June at the Friends’ Meeting
House, Jesus Lane. The meeting starts at 8pm with refreshments and a
chance to chat from 7.30.
