A Batavus women’s bike was stolen from a backyard in Brampton Road, Cambridge overnight 12/13 May. It is a very metallic-looking greyish light blue, with some purple/pink stripes around the central part of the frame, a completely encased chain, integral luggage rack and wired in lights. Front light recently rewired, with red tape visible around that part of the wiring. On the back of the bike is a half-removed official label with the name of the bike store in the Netherlands where it was bought sixteen years ago (Podt). That has been on there so long and is so old and scuffed that it’s either still there, or very obviously painted over. If anyone sees this bike anywhere, or sees it advertised for sale, please let us know via
