The story continues. We have published a full report into build outs (protrusions built out into the road, as at Jesus Lock), and this was submitted to the County Council via the Liaison Committee recently at its September meeting. By the time you read this, this will have been followed up with some local publicity.
However, we have been obliged to write to the Council again about the Chesterton Road crossing in particular. Some months ago, some changes were promised to the design there. Some of them have been done, but not all of them. So in our opinion, this crossing is still a deliberately introduced hazard for cyclists.
