On 11 May, Councillor Evelyn Knowles, Mayor of Cambridge, opened these blocks of experimental cycle parking, replacing the ‘wheel benders’ round the Guildhall. The ones in this picture are a chunkier-than-usual Sheffield stand | ‘Triangle 10’ and ‘triangle 20’ racks. The experiment is funded by the Home Office as part of an experiment hoping to control cycle theft |
