The good weather has arrived, so why not come out on an easy leisure ride? Everyone is welcome to come along. The rides are on the second and fourth Sundays of the month throughout the summer. The rides are around 20 miles long at a leisurely pace, to suit everyone on all sorts of bikes. Possible destinations include Wimpole Hall, Newton via the Shelfords, and Fowlmere Bird Reserve. There will be a stop for refreshments, usually at a tea shop or cafe if possible. Please meet at Brookside near the Lensfield Road junction at 1.50 p.m. The ride will leave at 2.00 p.m. The dates for the next few months are:
- Sunday 25 May
- Sunday 8 June – National Bike Week Ride to Anglesey Abbey
- Sunday 22 June
- Sunday 13 July
- Sunday 27 July
- Sunday 10 August
- Sunday 24 August
If you would like more details, or would like to volunteer to lead a ride please contact me (see ‘Contacts’ on the back page). These Sunday rides are a joint venture between the Campaign and the CTC in Cambridge, so come along and meet your fellow cyclists.
