Cycle rides
CTC Cambridge organises a variety of rides throughout the week, all year round. But there’s a varied choice of rides: lots of favourites and most of them can be adjusted to suit the weather and the group on the day. On Sundays, they have all-day rides in addition to afternoon outings, and the twice-monthly Saturday morning introductory rides. There are also Tuesday and Thursday day rides, as well as Wednesday evening rides. More information can be found online at www.ctc-cambridge.org.uk
City and County Council committees
Campaign members may be interested to attend Planning Committee and Area Committee meetings, which often include cycling and walking issues.
Joint Development Control Committee meetings, which determine the Planning Applications relating to the major housing development proposals for the Cambridge sub-region, are also open to the public. Details of venue and agenda are available about a week beforehand at www.cambridge.gov.uk/democracy/
