Sun 24 Queen’s Road Closed for Chariots of Fire Race.
The annual Chariots of Fire half marathon relay race takes place on a circuit that includes Queen’s Road and Silver Street.
To allow wheelchair users to participate in the race, Queen’s Road will be closed to northbound traffic between 8am and 1pm on the morning of the race. During the closure the alternative route for northbound traffic will be via Sidgwick Avenue-Grange Road-Madingley Road. Southbound traffic will be unaffected by the closure with Queen’s road effectively operating as a one-way street.
