Cyclists who behave in a dangerous or irresponsible manner tarnish the image of the hundreds of cyclists who ride in a considerate and safe way. I agree that those in the former category should be punished and that this should be a greater police priority. Additionally, I would like to see the continuation of cycling proficiency schemes in the city’s schools as a key contribution to any effort to improve cycling behaviour.
