Cycling Equity in England – Dr. Rachel Aldred visits Cambridge 6 June

Join us for our monthly meeting on 6 June with guest speaker Dr. Rachel Aldred speaking about Cycling Equity in England.

This presentation will discuss the new analysis of data (with Dr. Anna Goodman) from England's Active People Survey, looking at participation in both utility and leisure cycling. Which groups are under-represented? Does this under-representation disappear or decrease in English authorities where cycling levels are higher? What approach should we be taking to increase cycling equity?

Dr. Aldred is a fantastic speaker who makes the data from her research come alive with actionable insights about increasing cycling.

June 6, Friends' Meeting House, Jesus Lane, Cambridge. 7.30pm for 8 pm start.

Would you like to feature in a video about cycling?

While in Cambridge Dr. Aldred will also be filming a short documentary style video with Wheels for Wellbeing and is looking for all kinds of cyclists to interview. Would you like to part? Can you recommend someone who represents the diversity of cycling in Cambridge? Please get in touch contact@camcycle.org.uk
