Cambridge Cycling Campaign is delighted to announce the appointment of Roxanne De Beaux as our new Cycling Campaign Officer. Roxanne is the first full time employee of the Campaign and will be providing support for our many volunteers.
Robin Heydon, Chair, said "It is hugely exciting to be bringing somebody with such great experience and passion for bicycles into the charity as our first employee. This is a big step for Cambridge Cycling Campaign, and one that I believe will be transformative for both the charity as well as for Cambridge."
Roxanne comes with a wealth of experience in the commercial sector, both from the management consultancy and business sectors. We are looking forward to her taking cycling in Cambridge to a whole new level.
De Beaux says "Bicycles are one of the simplest and yet most powerful ways to transform cities. A great city like Cambridge thrives on the cycling culture that we have here and there is so much more that we could do. I have the ambition to make Cambridge the number one cycling city in the world."
The post of Cycling Campaign Officer is a volunteer support role. It is designed to help the volunteers successfully campaign for better, safer and more cycling in and around Cambridge. Roxanne will be coordinating activities with the business, government and third sectors as well as helping members with campaigns. Please join us in welcoming her to this new and exciting role.
