Zebras seen in Cambridge

Zicla Zebras were taken to the Cambridge Cycling Campaign monthly meeting to allow members to view a potential way to improve the boundary between a mandatory cycleway and a traffic lane. They were generally well received as they would easily allow a person on a bicycle to exit the cycleway easily and also allow emergency vehicles to drive over them on the way to a fire or similar life threatening situation. The meeting preferred the example picture as a good example of their use because the "zebras" were placed at a slight angle within two white lines that wouldn't surprise drivers or people on bikes.
