Before the end of the year, Cambridgeshire County Council will be deciding which of the experimental schemes delivered as part of the government’s second Active Travel Fund should be made permanent. For those that will be made permanent, recommendations for improvements will also be made.
In order to guide this decision-making, Camcycle would like to survey its members so that we can summarise your thoughts in a letter to the council. A public consultation on these schemes was held before implementation and, since they have been installed, individuals and organisations have also had a chance to comment via the Experimental Traffic Regulation Order process.
- More details on the Active Travel Tranche 2 schemes can be found on the council’s website.
- Technical drawings and legal documentation appear on the ETRO page.
- Camcycle’s initial thoughts on the schemes (at public consultation stage) can be found on our website and there is discussion on the implemented schemes on Cyclescape, our member forum.
As a democratic organisation, the thoughts of our members are greatly valued. Thank you for your time completing this survey.
