To celebrate 25 years of Camcycle, ‘cycling for all’ will encompass our value of inclusivity and our wish to do more to promote inclusive cycling. We’ll need more resources, volunteers, supporters and diversity so we can achieve our mission of more, better and safer cycling in our growing city.

Situation
2020 will be our 25th anniversary, and while there is much to celebrate, the amount of work we face is huge with more transport schemes and major developments to respond to. This milestone presents a fantastic opportunity to ramp up our campaigning to improve cycling conditions in Cambridge, but to do so, we need more resources, volunteers and diverse voices. We want to reach out to new communities to understand their needs and to provide our support.
Solution
We need to empower our volunteers so we can reach out to new communities, participate in consultations, respond to planning applications, meet with developers, attend events and speak with members of the public. We will produce campaigning materials such as leaflets, brochures and policy papers to support our campaigning activities. We will raise the profile of cycling by organising events. We need to invest in our staff and volunteers and maintain our office to meet, discuss and work.
