The clocks go back on the fourth Sunday in October. In winter it becomes ever more important for cyclists not to ride unlit in the dark. Aside from the fact that cycling in the dark without lights is illegal, if you've never driven you may not realise how invisible unlit cyclists can be at night.

Cycle lighting regulations
Cycle lighting regulations are very complicated to understand. For many years bike shops have been selling lights that do not meet any standards and that should only be used as back-up lights.
