Transport funding/congestion charge consultation

Cambridgeshire County Council has started a large consultation on the proposed set of schemes covering a congestion charge and a wide range of transport changes.

The Scheme documents are on the County Council’s website.

A set of roadshows is taking place, with the ones in town being:

Monday 3rd December 2007, 9 am–5 pm: Lion Yard
Tuesday 4th December, 11am–3 pm: Anglia Ruskin University, Helmore St
Wednesday 5th December, 9 am–5 pm: The Treatment Centre, Addenbrooke's Hospital
Tuesday 11th December, 3 pm–9 pm: The Small Hall, The Guildhall
Saturday 26th January 2008, 9 am–5 pm: The Grafton Centre
Sunday 27th January, 11 am–4 pm: The Grafton Centre
Wednesday 30th January, 6.30 am–8.30 am and 5 pm–8 pm: Trumpington Park & Ride site
Thursday 31st January, 6.30 am–8.30 am and 5 pm–8 pm: Madingley Road Park & Ride site

We will be discussing the plans at the December monthly meeting.
