Rather unusual one-way system in a residential area - but then again this is a private development.
A bike ride between Cambridge and Babraham. Track was a bit narrow and slippy for the small wheels of a Brompton here.

Bikes parked in Sturton Street, but the drainpipe has a funny sign, detailed in #35149.
Path through this development. The houses here have their own garages nearby so this is a bit of open space. Unfortunately there is no convenient dropped-kerb onto the road here.
Pickfords van driving in cycle lane, narrow cycle lane, and general poor road surface.
Narrow cycle lanes, Mowbray Rd, especially after rain cyclist avoiding puddles, similar to #32958
End of the guided busway at Addenbrooke's - although it looks as if it's intended to continue ahead.
Looking northwards from the turning into the Rugby Club where traffic calming measures are proposed.
Contrasting with #32641, the view in the other direction. Traffic calming is planned here.
On the bus route from the Imperial War museum to Whittlesford - this country road has a footway.
On the left there's a narrow footway that makes a very poor alternative to this main road for cycle access to the Imperial War Museum. Taken from a bus.
See video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6s9HazuihtM Hmm, this is an example for cyclists as well. I'm travelling along one off-road cyclepath and moving to an on-road cyclepath. I do take care here as this often happens and actual ... [more]

I'm not sure but I think the darker-that-the-pavement tarmac where those two white vans are parked is going to become some sort of hybrid cycle lane. Either that or it'll be a pavement with foliage in between it and the pavement further tow ... [more]
A little surprising to see Network Rail using this street as an overflow car park for the station, but anyway, I took this photo because I think the 20 mph sign here is new. Its covered in spray streamer - as part of the celebration ?
At least the third attempt by Miller Homes to block people to cut through between "Manor" and Chesterton roughly the way people have been walking (and now cycling) across the (former) fields for at least the past 60 years.
An area of trees felled to provide long slip-lanes for the Clay Farm development - a hazard for cyclists, of course.
The National Cycle Network route sticks to the road rather than cutting through the Burwell recreation ground.
Traffic-calming that leaves plenty of space for bikes - at least in this direction. It can be a bit intimidating going the other way.
Charles Street - a narrow and unsatisfactory thoroughfare blocked by parked vehicles. But on the other hand the blockage forces everyone to slow down and take care.
Luard Road now enjoys a 20mph limit - and has some gentle traffic calming to support it.
A cycle by-pass. I just don't understand why it is not about 2 metres wide! If you're pulling a cycle trailer it forces you to go right into the gutter - utterly unnecessary and rather disappointing.
The yet to be opened toucan on Hills Road bridge. There's quite a convenient access through this driveway onto the ramp and across. Note the gantry traffic light ready to be swung into place across the road.
View of the historic mill and a rather intriguing monument that looks like a plinth waiting for something to be added.
The City of Cambridge hereby give notice that ... blah blah blah. The effect of this Order will be... To introduce Car Club parking places for the use of vehicles displaying a permit under the Car Club scheme at the following locations: ... [more]
The ancient Mere Way route has survived most of the developments around here, and continues south through this gate. Cyclists can go around here to the right.
