Milton Road Bus & Cycle Lane on a Friday morning 8:30 am. Now wait for the guided bus....
Bridge street in the morning rush. I count 21 people cycling in this photograp, one bus (nearly empty), no cars. If those people were in cars the queue would be nose to tail, over 100m long. I made a 40 second video and counted 47 bik ... [more]
Pretty alright road for cycling, on my old commute between Fowlmere and Foxton railway station. Wide enough for a bike and a motor vehicle; maybe two of the former. Very good visibility (though not on this brow, but on the rest of the road) ... [more]
This is the new bridleway access to the Busway. The surface is so awful, it is very difficult cycling. Loose stones with broken glass.

The junction of Circus Drive with Kings Hedges Road and Arbury Road is another vast desert of tarmac
Ahead, the main road from Bottisham Sluice to Waterbeach; to the left/south is Burgess Drove, bypassing Waterbeach.
Ahead, a byway that doesn't actually go anywhere; to the right a road (asphalt for a short distance) that ends in a footpath to Chittering.
Little deviation - motor vehicles do not need to deviate their path much from straight on through this lane.
