It'd be nice to have a dropped kerb here (behind the bike's rear wheel) and a cycle link to Mill Road, avoiding the East Road junction.

Poor wheelbenders - very disappointing that the effort made by the owners is so unknowingly misdirected. If these kinds of stands were not available for sale, people would have to buy secure ones instead.
