Location may be inaccurate Pedestrian Zone sign

Here's a motorist who thinks that shared-use footpaths are not for walkers or cyclists, they're for cars. It was still there an hour and a half later.

The exit to the Coldham's Lane Bridge includes a very sensible section in which the cycleway merges (albeit too quickly) into the on-road cycle lane.

What is blocking the pavement here? It looks like the bikes are in the way but in reality it's the cars which are taking up half the pavement space through legalised pavement parking.

What would be a useful cycle facility is spoilt by the excessive amount of car parking in Romsey.

Cycle parking needed here on Mill Road. Plenty of space available.

The man in the centre of the picture had his handlebars damaged due to the obstructions here. These relics of 1980s restrictive design need to be removed.

Really irritating obstructions here. These are supposedly to prevent motorcycles cutting through which would reduce pleasant cycling. But cycling is made difficult by such obstructions. These are also impossible for trailer users, and proba ... [more]

Visibility at the Romsey exit from the station cycle bridge is not great due to vegetation here. However, it remains convenient to use, which is important.

Using the Cycle Bridge at the station is a much more pleasant experience now that the windows have been replaced and cleaned.

Cyclists use the 'out' side as the entrance to the cycle lane. The pointless central island should be removed.

This is an area of high levels of cycle theft. Yet not a single cycle parking stand is available, despite literally hundreds of insecure bikes being left against walls. Car parking on the opposite site of the road should be selectively remo ... [more]

Under DfT rules, which can only be described as red tape, excessive levels of signage and infrastructure are needed to make a cycle contraflow. On the continent a single sign that 'cyclists are exempt' from the one-way street is all that is ... [more]

Cycle parking needed outside the Botanic Gardens. Several bikes left against the wall, insecurely. A few car parking spaces should be replaced by on-road cycle parking.

Congestion on the Sheep's Green Bridge, which has not been upgraded, only the spans. This is the situation that Councillors have approved. Note the (advisory) Cyclist Dismount signs that have appeared.

Excellent cycle parking outside the Computer Laboratory, West Cambridge.

Silly chicane.

Amongst the highest quality cycle parking in Cambridge, outside the computer laboratory on the West Cambridge Site. Features: covered cycle racks on a hard surface, lit at night, and looks amazing.

Silly chicane near the observatory.

Cyclists avoid the pinch point simply by cycling round it.

Good quality new cycle parking at Robinson College.

The new span (to the old bridge) now open.

Very narrow cycle lane on Bateman Street.

We asked for on-street cycle parking here but were told that it could not be provided because it would reduce revenue from car parking. Totally unacceptable.
