As soon as I got home I sent this photo to the city council to complain.

A truly astonishingly badly placed sign.

Nowhere to park bikes here (officially), but such an obvious need, and there\'s plenty of space.

An historic sign announcing a shaft 9 feet away.

This photo was taken during a survey of cycle parking and waiting restrictions on Regent Street. They turned out to be highly inconsistent from one area to the next.

Clearly a desparate need for more cycle parking in this area. Just look at all these bikes next to this pole.
