As soon as I got home I sent this photo to the city council to complain.
A truly astonishingly badly placed sign.
Nowhere to park bikes here (officially), but such an obvious need, and there\'s plenty of space.
Sign reads No Cycles Please
\"No cycles please\" sign
Re-opened Regent Hotel with No Cycles Please signs.
The point where Regent Street ends and St Andrews Street Starts.
Sign reads \"Please do not lean your bicycle on this window\".
An historic sign announcing a shaft 9 feet away.
This photo was taken during a survey of cycle parking and waiting restrictions on Regent Street. They turned out to be highly inconsistent from one area to the next.
Clearly a desparate need for more cycle parking in this area. Just look at all these bikes next to this pole.
