Evidently cyclists can continue eastwards from the entry to Wimpole Hall, though it's not signed as a right of way.
Result of work undetaken to improve cyleway on Devonshire Rd, 2 days ago on 23.02.09. Smoother surface, but no more visually obvious. Extra symbols (arrows & bikes) have yet to be added.

Bridge over minor part of River Cam towards Newnham - surface felt very slippery (due to wetness rather than frost), when I walked over in trail shoes, but safe to cycle.
