CycleStreets API - add to your own apps

CycleStreets has a fully-featured API to enable you to add journey planning (with full geocoding and other features) and other facilities to your app.

We encourage wide use of the API. A range of apps, including several leading London cycle hire apps and the industry-leading BikeHub app make use of our API.

All our mobile apps are open-source code, which you can find in CycleStreets on GitHub.

Specification of our iPhone app

We would like to extend our app to as many mobile platforms as possible. However, as a not-for-profit organisation we do not have any substantial funds to do so, so we rely on volunteers who give their time generously.

If you would like to help port CycleStreets to other apps, we have created a detailed specification of the iPhone app:
