A minibus swerves into the cycle-lane to avoid speed-cushions on Water Lane, Chesterton, Cambridge.

Milton Road, Cambridge. I wonder if cycling on this pavement is allowed, there is an "End" sign for a cycle route on the pavement by Union Lane (furthest point visible in the photograph) but no start signs.
Cycle space is far tighter on the Class 317 trains to Liverpool Street than on the Class 365s to Kings Cross.

This end of Mere Way near the A14 gets quite 'rutty' and there's a lot of rubbish strewn everywhere. The smell of burnt plastic lingers in the air.

Crossing Cowley Park at the new junction, traffic can come from anywhere, so cyclists and pedestrians can wait a long time for the crossing to go green - most don't bother.
