Queens Rd Toucan crossing. One of the best examples of a Toucan in Cambridge.
Although neither path leading to the crossing is segregated, the use of segregated lane markings, and studs across the road, mean that there is minimal conflict between modes.
Posts are kept to a minimum and do not obstruct either approach, or turning manoevres on or off the road.
This crossing has nearside and farside crossing indicators.
Buried induction loops automatically detect cyclists approaching the crossing.
