Deliveries on Mill Road cause a blockage. However, there is probably little alternative given the layout of the streets. It is essential that any new planning permissions allocate off-street delivery areas.

Sorry its not a great photo because of the glare and lack of focus. However it does show a disabled person, a pushchair and a right-turning cyclist (who's stopped to wait for a gap in traffic) negotiating this busy junction.

Some Labour councillors think that Kingston Street, pictured going into the distance is too narrow for two-way cycling. They would rather people took a detour round what is a rather more dangerous stretch of Mill Road.
