The lack of cycle parking here (apparently opposed by some local councillors, for some reason) means that people park their bikes unofficially like this - meaning that walkers and cyclists cannot get by so easily.

Plenty of space here to make much better provision for cyclists (a proper width cycle lane, and cycle parking) if the car parking removed. Otherwise the risk of collisions will remain.

Workers covering in a corner with grass which we believed was to be (and still should be) used for cycle parking. We understand that certain Petersfield Councillors seem to have stopped this happening.
