The "No Cycles Please" written with a black felt marker pen is a depressing development on the bleak secure cycle parking landscape of Thoday Street. Later on that day I saw a bike parked to the same post.
The request not to have bikes parked here may well have come from a resident who has recently started to use a mobility scooter - all the more reason for finding some proper cycle parking that does not get in anyone's way.
