Cars belonging to horse owners parked on, and completely blocking in the case of the far one, the new Horningsea to Cambridge foot/cycle path leaving cyclists little choice but to drop onto the road into the path on oncoming traffic.
Why this possibility wasn't considered by the planners, given that these cars have always parked there, is a good question. A well thought out design would have given them somewhere to park legally and safely.
