On the afternoon of the first Saturday after the new John Lewis opened in Grand Arcade (across the road) this lorry was parked blocking the contraflow cycle lane on Downing Street while delivering to the 'Revolution' bar.
This was forcing cyclists into the path of the continuous stream of cocoming traffic.
Apart from illegal parking this is also in contravention of the bars planning permission.

Pretty inconsiderate and stupid parking of bikes here on Downing Street. Although there is a shortage of cycle parking in the area, this sort of carelessness and disrespect for walkers is certainly avoidable.
