Provision types

This table summarises all the details of the different available provision for cycling.
This forms the subjective data in the system; the routing data itself is not subjective data.

The speed is shown in miles per hour(mph) and quietness is a percentage (%), defined at how quietness is measured.

Pause represents the delay in seconds of using that provision, e.g. 3 seconds for a dismount.

One-way indicates whether that type of provision is usually ridden in one direction.

The journey planner assumes these expected delays at traffic signals: Crossings: 5 seconds and Junctions: 20 seconds.

This table is currently not shown as this work is in transition (May 2011).
