Cycles parked on the pavement as far as the eye can see on Thoday Street - proof of the demand for cycle parking.
With nowhere to park bikes on the street I'm forced to struggle to get my bikes in and out of the house like this, followed by a walk along the narrow footway to get to a wide enough gap between the parked cars.
James and Lisa demonstrating the oblique cycle parking proposals, during the night survey group.
Complete lack of cycle parking on the highway forces cyclists to do this sort of thing. The pavement is totall blocked. (Exact time and date shown are guessed.)
What is blocking the pavement here? It looks like the bikes are in the way but in reality it's the cars which are taking up half the pavement space through legalised pavement parking.
This scaffolding has only been here a few minutes and look how many bikes are blooming already.
