Grand Arcade construction

The Grand Arcade, a new shopping centre in Cambridge, will include a new cycle park and cycle contraflow, both in Corn Exchange Street. Unfortunately this is the wrong side of the development.

Buildout presumably being created for the new cycle contraflow being created following pressure by the Campaign. Probably about the best position that could be achieved given bureaucratic restrictions by the DfT.
I don't see where the 'new' cotraflow lane in CornExchange St is going? from 'build-out' gap to otherside must be well under 4m?
Works round the back of the Grand Arcade, where a new cycle contraflow will be installed.
Fisher Square, under reconstruction due to the Grand Arcade. The cycle parking here has been removed and will not return.
