Local election voting will take place on May 1st. The Councillors that are elected are the people that will be making the decisions on cycling and planning issues. Check out the elections section of our website to see what the candidates say, and ask them your own questions. Sat 10 Other Cycle Campaign Network Conference (and launch of Cycling 2020)
A conference for cycling campaign groups from all around the UK will come to the Centre for Mathematical Studies in Cambridge. This is a great opportunity to take part in the national debate about cycling in cities and show off some of the things that make people think Cambridge is a great place for cycling. There will be rides, networking, and we welcome offers of host families to accommodate delegates. Our Cycling 2020 initiative will also be launched at the conference.

Sun 11 Fundraiser Suffolk Sunrise 100
This is a sponsored bike ride organised by Action Medical Research, one of Britain's leading medical research charities, with a choice of 50 or 100 mile routes exploring the beautiful peaceful Suffolk coast and countryside - including even a ferry ride across the River Deben. Riders will be supported with refreshment stops and other facilities. Both routes start and finish at Woodbridge Town Football Club. Sun 18 Fundraiser London-Cambridge cycle ride for children at Addenbrooke's
A London to Cambridge cycle ride is being held to raise money in memory of Adam Rogers, a patient at Addenbrooke's, who died of a brain tumour at the age of 13. The money will go towards the cost of a care team for child cancer patients to care for them in hospital and when they leave. 150 intrepid cyclists will be riding from London to Cambridge on Sunday 18 May, crossing the finish line at Addenbrooke's Hospital at 4pm. Sun 27 Fundraiser London to Cambridge Bike Ride
Raise funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer by taking part in the annual London to Cambridge Bike Ride on Sunday 27 July 2008. The 50 mile route winds its way through beautiful countryside from Waltham Abbey to the finish at Midsummer Common in the heart of Cambridge.
