Tue 7 Monthly meeting Monthly General Meeting - History of cycling in Cambridge
8.00pm, Friends' Meeting House, Jesus Lane (with tea and coffee from 7.30pm, and a chance to chat, and for us to introduce ourselves to new members). Well-known local historian Mike Petty, author of Memory Lane Cambridge, Vanishing Cambridgeshire, Images of Cambridge etc, will lead a presentation on the history of cycling in Cambridge.

Rally for renewables! 12pm on Parker's Piece www.energisecambridge.org - Cambridge's new student climate change campaign. The Campaign's stall will be there.

Agenda includes - matters around the station, highway issues, development around Ely, Ely bypass, Ely cycle map, events, "input to the political system", and anything else you want to raise. Tue 27 Speaker Question to Cambridgeshire County Council
We will be presenting a question and short speech to the County Council at their meeting (starting 10.30am, at Shire Hall), on the subject of their motions on the Times CycleSafe campaign and the Chisholm Trail. We are hoping for cross-party support for both of these.
